Refund policy
Overview
All orders, including custom and non-custom items, must be canceled within three (3) business days from the order date to receive a full refund.
To offer quality designer pieces at the best possible discounts, we must manage our costs, including return processing. Therefore, we have a no-return policy unless there is a manufacturing defect or shipping damage. Salt House must be notified of any defect or damage within three (3) business days of receiving the product, with accompanying photos as proof. In such cases, the product will be replaced, but no refund will be issued.
Backorders
Some items may need to be backordered due to the limited availability of certain options (e.g., fabric, stain). If an option requires a backorder, the customer may select a different option. No cancellations or refunds will be issued for backordered options.
Change Orders
Any changes to an order (such as changes in wood, stain, or other options) must be made within three (3) calendar days of placing the order. No offsets or credits will be provided for previously selected options that are canceled.
Custom Wood Product Statement
Slight color variations will occur between samples, computer-generated photos, and the actual product due to the natural uniqueness of wood. Authentic woods naturally vary in color and character markings, such as streaks, knots, and grain patterns. These natural variations, combined with how stains interact with different character markings, can result in light and dark variations. These variations give each piece of wood furniture its unique beauty.
Warranties
Each manufacturer provides their own warranties. Salt House will stand by any manufacturer defect that needs to be addressed and replaced. Normal wear and tear are permitted, but damage to the product is not covered. Please be aware of each manufacturer's warranty and understand its terms.
Online Shipping
We offer domestic shipping only. For online orders, please allow 2-5 weeks for delivery. Ensure you provide all contact information, including a daytime phone number. Upon receipt, please inspect your product and provide a signature of acceptance.
